About the
Designer
Carmella Troisi-Hoerr has been designing cross stitch designs, quilts,
sewing patterns and craft projects, in addition to producing a wide variety of
freelance graphic designs & magazine production design for over 35 years. She started HCH
Limited in 1985 to publish her first Basenji Cross Stitch book and the business
continues to grow. "I have done a LOT of things, and can never figure out
what I really want to focus on," she says. "I guess I'll just have to
continue to do as much as I can, for as long as I can!" HCH Limited
branched into graphic design and produced artwork for American School of
Needlework, Random Hill Press & Psicor. She published newsletters,
magazines & promotional materials for a wide variety of clients. She
lives with her husband in Arizona along with two horses, three basenjis and
eleven chickens. She's a proud mother and recently has become a
grandmother.
